11m operator since 1978.

It all started back then in 1978 with a Kraco KCB4004... 40ch AM. Whereas the lastest purchase was a President Washington II in 2024.

Operating wise. Prefer dx. Use all modes. PTT voice operator. No data modes. Not really into 5/9 contacts either. Prefer a chat :-)

Base: -

Yaesu FT450D (lends itself well to 11m operating for a multitude of reasons).

EA Delta-11 delta loop. Mast mounted 1/2w agl (pictured).
Apex down/bottom fed gives horizontal polarisation. However, moderately high angle of take off.

Imax 2000. Ground/pole mounted at 1/4w agl.
Vertically polarised of course. But relatively low angle of take off.

HyEnd 10-12m bandpass filter.
